Leeds United were relegated that year with 18 points, a total which still holds the record for the lowest ever total in the 1st Division. After sharing my younger years between playing local football and watching Leeds United I joined the Supporters Club in the 1960s and was soon involved in starting the Brittania, later re-named Holbeck, Branch of the Supporters Club. I joined the Executive Committee of the Supporters Club as Fund Raising Secretary in the early '70s before moving on to be appointed Assistant Secretary, Treasurer and finally Chairman in 1985. Chris Hall (Secretary) I was first taken to Elland Road in the mid sixties by my grandad. I originally joined the Supporters Club [Three Legs Branch] in 1981, finally joining Fullerton Park Branch in 1991, becoming Assistant Secretary in July 2005. I have a 20 year season ticket and have been lucky enough to visit many different European countries watching Leeds United. Most of these trips were organised by Supporters Club members. I was appointed Assistant Secretary in 2006, becoming Secretary in July 2008. I will be available in our new home, The Old Peacock on matchdays. Phil Beeton (Treasurer) Phil began supporting Leeds in late 1957 when as a mere youngster he was led to Elland Road by his father, a keen supporter himself from before the War. A season ticket holder since 1964 Phil has just reached the milestone in April 2003 of attending 1,500 consecutive league games. Phil's membership of the Supporters Club began in 1972 and in 1979, along with his wife Chris he helped form the Griffin Branch. After several years as Assistant Secretary on the LUSC Executive Phil agreed to take over the vacant position of Treasurer in June 2003.
